By most measures, 2020 has been uniquely challenging, a year filled with difficult, sad and gripping news. We wanted to provide a brief update and share some positive news about our recent work at Nestwave.
Earlier this year, we were awarded a €2.1M grant from the prestigious European Innovation Council (EIC) accelerator program funded by Horizon 2020, the EU research and innovation program. In conjunction with private funding, we have expanded our teams, accelerated our development timelines and grown our business engagements with class-leading IoT modem chipset vendors and DSP core partners such as Synopsys and Cadence.
Our new CEO, Ambroise Popper, a semiconductor industry veteran, took the helm in July and is helping to lead Nestwave through our next stage of growth.
We’re also pleased to share that the media is taking notice of Nestwave’s unique technology and solutions. Articles by EETimes, All About Circuits, and L’Embarqué (French) have reported on our unique capabilities. An interview with Ambroise by B SMART shed some light on current and future opportunities for advanced geolocation across the IoT space.
And finally, we’re thankful to be the winners of several recent industry awards. We were named Most Innovative Startup at the MUST IoT Trends conference in July. Earlier this month, we won the Geolocation Solution of the Year from Mobile Breakthrough Awards, a global market intelligence firm and were finalists in the 2020 Global IoT Awards
In all, 2020 has been a strong year for Nestwave and we’re collectively excited about the opportunities ahead in 2021.
